When completed, we plan to paint this in Desert Tan (FS 33446), and wanted to paint parts that wouldn’t otherwise be easy to mask once it is reassembled.

We intend to put the M1038 on the four-poster lift in the front shop for evaluation of re-powering, repair, and whatever else needs to be done. What else to tow a HMMWV but another HMMWV?

My brother, Tim Grundman (owner of Big Dawg Diesel Worx, LLC) introduced all of us to the utility of HMMWVs. This picture was taken at the ranch in January, 2018. Tim’s son Thomas is pictured. Thomas became very familiar with HMMWVs and more during his tour in Iraq.
